This edition is packed with great content from our Members sharing their accomplishments and expertise to our business community. Before you dive into our array of Member articles, let’s take a look at what the Chambers team have been up to this month.
Community, Connections at Southend United
At Essex Chambers, we believe in the power of community, and we were delighted to celebrate it at a recent networking evening in the heart of Southend. The event took place at Roots Hall, the home of Southend United, a club that has become a true institution in the county.
Guests enjoyed wonderful hospitality in the Blues Legends Lounge while making valuable connections with fellow professionals. After a warm welcome from our CEO, Denise Rossiter, the evening’s highlight was an inspiring talk by Southend United Chairman, Justin Rees.
Sharing his journey, personal inspirations, and the pivotal role he played in rescuing Southend United from the brink of liquidation. Established in 1906, the club has seen both triumphs and challenges — but under Justin’s leadership, a new chapter of resilience and community spirit is unfolding.
We are grateful to Southend United and to all who joined us for such a memorable evening.
