Major investment heralded as new era for staff, clients and the community.

Fisher Jones Greenwood (FJG), a leading regional law firm and proud member of Lawfront, has officially unveiled its revamped Colchester head office at Severalls Business Park – marking a new chapter in its 40-year history that continues to place staff and clients firmly at the heart of everything it does.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at the newly refurbished flagship office space at The Tower in Phoenix Square, Wyncolls Road, on Thursday 25 September. The event was attended by Tony Fisher, Chairman of FJG, Paula Fowler, CEO of FJG, and Axel Koelsch, COO at Lawfront, as well as local dignitaries, clients, and staff.

Guests were later welcomed to an evening reception with tours of the new space to show how it has been designed to be a welcoming place for clients and a comfortable work environment.

The newly refurbished 6,000 sq ft flagship space marks a major investment in Fisher Jones Greenwood’s future and reaffirms its commitment to staff, clients, and the local community.

To celebrate the official opening, FJG will roll out a series of initiatives and events in the coming weeks to support good causes in the city as well as the local business community.

A new head office for a new era

FJG has been based near Severalls Business Park since 2006, having previously operated from Charter Court on Newcomen Way, within Colchester Business Park.
The new offices serve as a central hub for FJG’s full-service legal offering, including family law, conveyancing, private client, employment, immigration, and commercial services.

The three-level premises have been designed with staff wellbeing and modern working practices in mind, alongside accessible, collaborative, and technology-enabled facilities to meet client expectations. The space includes flexible work areas, quiet zones, sustainable elements, and tech-ready meeting rooms.

As FJG continues to grow across Essex and Suffolk, the new head office offers scalable service delivery and long-term sustainability.

Supporting the local community and business

To celebrate the launch, FJG plans a series of events supporting charity and good causes in the community, as well as businesses to support their own clients.

Breakfast Bitesized: Navigating the Legal Landscape is a series of morning workshops, which will be held in its new office space from 16 October, offering legal expertise and practical advice to property professionals.

Aimed at estate agents, mortgage advisors, and financial professionals – both new to the industry and those looking to refresh their knowledge – the workshops will offer valuable insights to help local businesses support homebuyers and sellers.
