Balls Out Comedy Club has been making people laugh out loud at the Cliffs Pavilion for a decade. And it is still finding new audiences and giving new talent that all important exposure.
The Club began in the Admiral’s Room at the Cliffs Pavilion but as its reputation and popularity grew, it moved to the larger Maritime Room in September 2024.
Comedy Club booker and promoter Stevie Rae said ‘The main reason the club has retained such loyal support is down to the variety of acts. Balls Out Comedy Club gives a platform for established acts as well as emerging performers. It also gives a stage to not only stand ups but to character comedians, musical comics and comic improv performers.’
Balls Out Comedy Club always offers a blend of comedic styles and backgrounds. With the first half of each show dedicated to three contrasting comedians from the UK circuit and the second half giving the audience a chance to share some of their suggestions in the Big Fat Improv Finale-where the acts perform with no preparation, no scripts and absolutely no dignity!
Past acts at the Club include Marcel Lucont, Sooz Kempner and Ali Woods. At upcoming acts, audiences will be treated to brilliant comedy from Paul Pirie, Pat Smith and Ross McGrane to name but a few.
New customers are always welcome. To find out why so many people have been going out to Balls Out for the last ten years, get a ticket today and have a right laugh.
