Upcoming Trade Expert Training
A packed month of training sessions is coming this November for the International Trade Team, here are some of the courses you can attend to help enhance your knowledge on all things exporting, importing and much more! 

Kicking off the month on Wednesday 8th November is our Import Procedures & Documentation Training. Did you know that international markets can offer huge opportunities for UK businesses? However, selling internationally can be very complex. To help you navigate these complexities this course explores all the key areas around importing including documentation requirements, an overview of country of origin and incoterms.

Join us virtually on Tuesday 14th November for the Import & Export Diagnostics Workshop to learn all about the key areas of international procedures and compliance as our experienced trainers help you to review your current Standard Operating Procedures and ensure you are compliant when trading internationally. The workshop will explore customs procedures and paperwork for import/export activities, supply chain movements checklists and much more.

On Thursday 16th November we will be holding our Inward & Outward Processing Training. Attendees can learn about special procedures including the benefits of using Inward & Outward Processing to help keep you compliant. Commonly known as IP & OP, the course will look at the impact of the EU Union Customs Code (UCC). 

Commodity codes are used worldwide to determine the customs duty and other charges levied on the goods when importing and exporting. Join us on Wednesday 29th November for our Understanding Commodity Codes Training, where you will gain insight into what commodity codes are and how getting them wrong can have a big impact on your business. 

Explore the World of Virtual Networking
Our next Virtual Networking event will be held on Wednesday 15th November. Born out of the necessity of lockdown these events have grown into a monthly staple here at the Chambers. Free to attend for Members they are an excellent way of making new connections and are very popular with our attendees but don’t just take our word for it, here is some attendee feedback from a recent session;

Experience the Festive Feels at Tiptree Tearoom
We are delighted to be back for another year with our Patrons Wilkin & Sons for a great evening at our Tiptree Festive Networking event at the wonderfully cosy Tiptree Tearoom. This event has become an annual treat for us here at the Chambers and this year the event is open exclusively for our Members to enjoy.   

You’ll be welcomed with a homemade mince pie as you hear from Wilkin & Sons before enjoying sumptuous samples of their world-famous preserves, chutneys and Fruit Gin Liqueurs. Not only are there great networking opportunities but you will also receive 15% discount to use in the shop to stock on up on fantastic festive treats. It’s the perfect opportunity to get your Christmas shopping started as well as picking up some great goodies for yourself.

Here at the Chambers we are dedicated to bringing the Essex business community workshops and webinars on a range of subjects to give you up to date expert knowledge to help your business grow. This month we have two upcoming courses that will help the development of your company. 

On Tuesday 21st November join us and industry experts LOCALiQ for our AI Marketing – What Business Needs to Know about New Bing webinar as they explore the transformative role Artificial Intelligence has in reshaping digital marketing.
