The team at The Cotton Textile Company have been busy putting in the hours this year to raise money for their long term charity partner SNAP, taking on charity golf and cycling fundraisers. A fellow Essex organisation, SNAP supports the families of children with special needs and have been partnered with TCTC since 2019.
Back in May, co-founder Richard King and business partner Graham Rowland teamed up for the Ride London bike ride. The pair successfully completed the 100 mile ride with very respectable times, managing to raise over £500 for SNAP and earning themselves a well-deserved pint after crossing the finish line.
More recently, co-founder Sam Webb and colleague Grant Popham spent the day volunteering for SNAP at their charity golf event, guiding the golfers around the course and ball-spotting. TCTC also provided SNAP-branded golf towels for the event, and the day concluded with an impressive total raised.
Co-founder Sam Webb commented: “we are happy to be continuing to work closely with our deserving charity partner SNAP. The team at TCTC are excited to keep giving back to the local community through this partnership.”
Sara Clifton, a spokesperson for SNAP, added: “We really could not have done this without [the TCTC team] and we are still reeling a bit from the results!” If you would like to learn more about, or donate to, SNAP, please go to their website.
