From lifesaving rescues to preventing emergencies before they happen, we are marking a year of progress - responding to more calls for help while strengthening safety and prevention work across our county.
Our 2024–25 Annual Report and Fire and Rescue Statement, which has just been published, shines a light on the people behind the statistics – firefighters, staff, volunteers and community partners – all working towards one mission: making Essex safer together.
This year’s report highlights the breadth of work carried out across Essex - from nearly 17,000 incidents attended to more than 10,000 home safety visits and 14,000 smoke alarms fitted, high-rise safety inspections and significant investment in new fire engines, equipment and training.
