
Gerald McDonald Group, based on Cranes Farm Road, and one of the UK’s longest-standing suppliers to the food and drink industry, has won the Agriculture, Food and Drink category at this year’s Made in the UK, Sold to the World Awards, which celebrates UK-based small businesses successfully trading across the world.
Now in its third year, the awards programme highlights standout British exporters who are helping to promote UK products on the global stage. Gerald McDonald & Company was recognised for its sustained export growth, innovative supply chain capabilities, and global reach - delivering ingredients to customers in over 30 countries across North America, Europe, Africa, and Asia.
Accepting the award at the official ceremony, Managing Director and the 4th generation to lead the company, Maxim McDonald commented: “Winning this award is a proud moment for the whole team at Gerald McDonald Group. The judging panel praised the business for its robust international strategy, heritage-led innovation, and commitment to sustainability - traits that have helped cement its position as one of the UK’s leading independent exporters in the food ingredients space.
This latest accolade marks another milestone in Gerald McDonald’s continued investment in global growth and its mission to bring British ingredient excellence to the world.
Winners will receive a promotional package that includes a one-year membership to the Chartered Institute of Export and International Trade, a custom campaign across Department for Business and Trade (DBT) channels, and professional photography to use for their business. As well as being invited to the Award show in London.
