Southend Theatres and Imagine Theatre are delighted to announce that the magical festive family show Santa’s On His Sleigh, written by children’s TV megastar Justin Fletcher, will visit the Palace Theatre from Monday 8 – Wednesday 24 December 2025.

Santa’s on His Sleigh is an exciting and engaging Christmas show for pre-school children starring Santa, Rudolph and the elves Snowdrop and Mistletoe, as well as featuring on screen his virtual little helper Head Elf Justy, played by Justin Fletcher.

Justin Fletcher is a familiar face in households across the country. He stars in many CBeebies smash hit television shows including Gigglebiz, Gigglequiz, Something Special, Jollywobbles and Justin’s House. Providing character voices for a number of family films and TV shows and touring the UK in his own stage shows, Justin has been the recipient of numerous children’s BAFTA’s for his work and in 2008 was awarded an MBE for his services to television and to charity organisations. In the eyes of a whole generation, he truly is a superstar.

Justin said “I was delighted when I was asked to write this festive show by Imagine Theatre. I hope the audiences have a magical time and can help Santa mend his sleigh just in time for Christmas Eve. The show will be lots of fun with festive songs to join in with along the way. Ho Ho Ho and a happy Christmas!”

It is Christmas Eve and Santa is finishing off his final preparations! He is checking his list before he hops aboard his trusty sleigh. But just before he takes flight into the night sky to deliver his presents, he discovers that his sleigh has broken down! Can you help Santa fix his sleigh? Time is running out and there are problems to solve and presents to deliver!
