Local Accountancy Firm launches ‘10k Your Way’ fundraising challenge to celebrate 10-year anniversary

- Rickard Luckin is celebrating a decade since the successful merger which brought together the expertise of two local accountancy firms in 2015.
- To mark this milestone, Rickard Luckin has launched a new fundraising initiative, “10k Your Way”, with the aim of raising £10,000 in support of local charities and voluntary organisations through the Essex Community Foundation.
- Rickard Luckin will match donations, up to the full £10,000 target.
A decade on from the merger that united Bird Luckin and Rickard Keen, Rickard Luckin is marking its 10-year anniversary with the launch of a community-focused fundraising initiative: 10k Your Way.
The firm, which has grown significantly in both size and reputation over the last ten years, is using this milestone to reflect on its journey and to give back to the community that has supported it. The aim is to raise £10,000 in support of local charities and voluntary organisations through the Essex Community Foundation.
The 10k Your Way campaign is a firm-wide challenge that encourages team members to commit to a 10k-themed challenge - anything from 10,000 steps a day, to reading 10,000 pages, or 10,000 minutes of exercise, wellbeing or learning. The initiative is designed to be inclusive and flexible, allowing participants to shape their own challenges either individually or in teams.
“This campaign is a celebration of our people, our history, and our values,” said Steve Revill, Managing Director at Rickard Luckin. “We wanted to mark our 10-year anniversary in a meaningful way, and raising £10,000 to support local groups tackling the issues our team members care about most, felt like the perfect way to do it.”
